SASSY
FLORIDA PANTHER
When Sassy was a young kitten, her mother was hit by a car. Sassy wandered alone near Collier-Seminole State Park in southwest Florida for over a month, before being rescued and taken to Palm Beach Zoo, where she has lived a celebrated life for ten years. Sadly, 200 Florida Panthers remain in the wild. Palm Beach Zoo is famous for its multi-faceted approach including collaborations, research, education, and public awareness.
