Seymour is 12 years old and lives at Stone Zoo in Massachusetts. Zoo experts had hoped Seymour and Chessie would mate. When natural attempts failed, artificial insemination was attempted. Seymour's samples were successfully collected. Sadly, Chessie was found to have advanced cancer and was euthanized. There is still hope Seymour’s samples will one day produce a healthy litter.
